For several reasons the main Leicester FoLaD event/venue on 8th September will be exclusively now be at the Haymarket Theatre.
This was the original plan, before Alan (I’m writing this) got so carried away.
(University of Leicester George Davies Centre was to have hosted FoLaD arts/therapies/workshops, etc., but considerations of resources/budgets/marketing/audience/etc., mean that the main event and efforts must now be concentrated into a single main venue, namely the Haymarket Theatre.)
Free stall space for wellness providers/agencies/etc., is available during the day at Haymarket Theatre on 8th Sept. For your free presence please register via the ‘Participate’ form on this website, or email us.
Thanks to UoL for your support in the past, and others particularly (Vicki and Sue) who’ve worked very hard to find ways of bringing FoLaD to University of Leicester on 8th Sept.
Quite separately – I’m delighted to say that two brilliant teams of young people volunteers with the excellent NCS (National Citizens Service) will be helping with FoLaD fundraising and publicity during July. I am very grateful for this support.
